Accept unset amounts through PayPal?

Hi there,

Is it possible to accept payments through paypal where the user enters the amount they wish to pay - similar to a donation, but without using PayPal donations?

If not, does anyone know of any other ways to do this?

Not sure I quite understand... Do you want someone to just directly send you money or is this for a webpage where you want a webpage to enter an amount to send?... Both of the above options are available through Paypal...
