Page 2 - average salary of web designer

Well I must say they earn a hefty amount for sure, I can say this because lately I got introduced to a web designer who was referring in his chat with me that he is going to take the support of the Arizona PEO Companies for some sort of help, by this it can be assumed that his package is rather heavy and therefore he has a lot of issues to go with it!

Nice round figures. Hefty. A nice even number and easy to work with.

My secret sources indicate a web developer would earn between 55k and 135k depending on experience and ranking. About the same for a web 'engineer' with people delegated merely to 'layout' can expect a lot less.

These figures are with a ridiculous California bay area cost-of-living rate. Adjust down :-)

I do pretty well working independently. Find a smaller urban area without a lot of competition and the money starts rolling in. Like many people said here it depends on where you are about what the average is. I say I do pretty well but I'm in the midwest and our cost of living isn't as high as say some places on the east or west coasts.
