Business Cards Title
I am starting a business under the general partnership form, and as we are heading to create our business cards, i was just wondering if there were mistakes to avoid when choosing titles.
I know a lot of small businesses owners chose title like President or even CEO... I found it inapropriate for a small company, so i was wondering if title of the style "managing director" could be used for a General partnership? |

My advice would be no title at all. If you're doing business with someone, and you're from a small partnership don't limit yourself through titles ...
Just my €0.02

Titles very often reflect status rather than role, I think the title "Managing Director" or "CEO" is required for developing relationship with organization.

It depends on what kind of companies you are going to be targetting as potential customers. If they are bigger, more established ones then something like Managing Director could help when trying to make contacts there.
We've opted not to use titles on our business cards, although my partner wanted to use Director which doesn't sound too pretentious. |

If you are targeting potential customers and corporate client I think business card might be needed.

No one is objecting to the use of business cards, the inclusion of a title can preclude the holder from certain activities in the mind of the potential customer - in the mind, mind you.
When looking for business at the start it's important to be as much as you can be, that's my slant at any rate ... |
