Copyright question pertaining to a photo
If I take a picture of myself and I'm wearing a shirt I got from the Coca-Cola company that has their logo on it and I put that photo on the internet, can I get in trouble?

It would really be a trademark issue, not a copyright issue. Unless you're bashing or endorsing coke or another cola product or somehow portraying that you represent coca cola then it should be fine, it's just a t-shirt and not presumably the actual subject of the photo.

I didn't even notice that. Yeah. I just clicked the thread from the main index. Pepsi is a trademark, not a copyright, as well. Yes, if your artwork is specifically of a pepsi can, this violates trademark. What's the difference? The shirt is coincidental where the artistic representation of the can is deliberate.
Cheetos is also a trademark. Your dog has no rights but its owner may. |
