copyrights
I was wondering does it make more sense in the footer puting the name of the company for copy rights are the webiste.
Suppose a company "PHAMMS Connsutling" has a website "Phamms.com" so should it be 1. Copyrights © 2004 PHAMMS Connsutling All Rights Reserved or 2. Copyrights © 2004 Phamms.com All Rights Reserved

Business name you should copyright since that is the legal body that owns the rights over that what is put on the website. The domain is property of the firm not vice versa.
