Cross-Interest jobs
Ok here is the situation...
I am developing a gaming network for free as portfolio work and possible furture money. I have worked on the website design, development, and application for exactly a year now. Issue... Another gaming network who happens to be our host wants me to work on his gaming network and they way thier setup is designed it is very unprofessional and would take a long time to complete. If I try to change the idea of the website it will end up using the portions of the gaming network I am doing for portfolio work. I am fairly new(1 or 2 years) to professionally developing and I just plain dont know what to do. |

I guess you could use the same sort of coding with different images. For example there's lots of search engines, their code is probably close to the same but they've got totally different designs.

i would go with another host there seems to be a conflict of interests. or sell out to him for a years salary and work on it for while on contract. give them the right to use your technonolgy, but not exclusivly. in a few years start over for yourself with a better version.
