If I distribute a program written, say, in C, C++, etc., and I have used the GNU compilers to compile the program, do I have to distribute the program under the GPL?
If so, what clause in the GPL states that this must be done? |

I don't have it in front of me right now, but I don't think that you really need to. At most, you should probably include somewhere in your credits that it was compiled with GCC and supply a URL for the user to obtain it from.
Don't take my word on it, though. I am simply speculating.
