Doing business in the uk
I have been turning over the idea of expanding my game server rental business to the UK. I am just a little leary and was hoping I could get some information from anyone here on whats the legistics of it and if there is anything I should really look out for. Iss there any taxes or cost that may be involved with doing somethign like this?

Hello,

We run a few servers at IndexCore in the United Kingdom, but its not always you will make a profit as the UK people look at the US hosting companies that offer their services cheaper then UK hosts. Tax's if you are in the UK are 14.7% so you will have to pay them if you operate in the UK, something to keep in mind.

Having said this if you find a company who is willing to work with you in supporting your expansion that would take much administration off your back as their is lots and lots of paper work when dealing with the UK tax's and things of this nature.

you only have to pay it if you are located there if I'm correct...well, I have customers there and I don't pay taxes.. :/
