What exactly do you mean when your say "copyrighted by star"?
as far as I know, the copyright for the images will remain with the copyright holder unless transferred by traditional legal means.

Call a lawyer. Now. What you are trying to do is screwed up. A lawyer will set you straight.
<not a lawyer> First of all, as soon as anyone creates anything it is their copyright. They must explicitly transfer that right, irregardless of whether they actually filed. If you are on the timeclock of an employer, the employ's work is (c) that employer. Second of all, even assuming you come up with something that is a legal transfer (which anyone in their right mind would run, fast, from such an online agreement) you are assuming the uploader has that right in the first place. Which more than half the time in my observation is a false assumption outright. See also 4. Third, if this is buried and obfuscated in a long and/or ephemeral online document only then it may be construed as a deceptively obtained contract pending 4. Fourth: you open yourself up to litigation from 2, 3. Specifically if the organization generates revenue, irregardless if it is "not for profit" revenue, from use of this content. </not a lawyer>
