Hey,
My website received 11389 page views in 30ish days. Is it worth Google Adsense to provide some money? Has any else used this? How much did you earn? How does this work, do you have a virtual bank and they post you a cheque? or do you enter credit card details etc. Is there a working preview tool? Thanks, |

If it give you $2-$3 a day it is big thing as you can later monetize it much better. Nothing bad to use it.

As long as you are able to integrate it in such a way that it doesn't 'cheapen' your site, go for it!

I think this is a great point to make. Also if you are selling something I would not use adsense, you might lose some customers. |

cash for click ads like Google AdSense Ads work best on sites that provide content that is (somewhat) unique and widely searched for...
If your 11k+ page views were 60% or better by unique IP addresses (not a forum or blog site) it would be well worth implementing Google AdSense Ads... The Ads are highly customizable to meld with any theme or color configurations... ...They also allow you to maintain a "competitive ad" list to prevent competitor's ads from appearing on your site. Google offers excellent information on using AdSense and how to get the most from it... design the ads so they look like they belong on your pages...but two things you do or do not want to do is...present the ads adjacent to but without blocking your content... and don't place ads within navigation menus (don't trick your visitors)... |

Well thanks for your responses guys, i decided too go for it and get adsense and so far...its doing good. I think iv got about $40 in ...2 months. I notice a general tend of getting good results on the weekends and fridays. However some times i get served the low paying ads and get very little.. but yet again i get the occasional good expensive click. Hope it improves.
Thanks again, see the result: www.mysimtractor.com |

you should filter the ads, the ones who pay little you can stop from showing on your site.

Google AdSense is definitely worth it, IMO.
I agree that you should make the most use of the filters and customization options to make sure that the ads are tactfully integrated with the content on your website. One thing to note is, though, that you need to focus on items that are going to naturally be of interest to your target audience. An ad can be $0.50 or even $5.00 CPC but it doesn't do you any good if no one clicks it. |

Google Adsense (unless their policy has changed in the last few days) does not allow you to "filter ads" by their click value... ...To the best of my knowledge (based on correspondence with Google) the only "filter" available to the average web site owner is a "competitive ad" filter that lets you prevent specific URLs/ Ads from being displayed on your pages... click values can be as little as .01 and up..if you choose to allow Google to use their "advertise on this site" program the click values can be substantially more based on how much advertisers are willing to pay to have their ads appear on your pages... |

For business sites I would go without the Google adsense, losing a few clients (to potential competitors) for a few cents per click is not worth it.
But if you really want to make a living with Adsense then you would have to go for it but it doesn't happen overnight. |

Yep, if you want to test adsense, blogs are good rather than the business site which purpose is different.

Hi,
It is an excellent option to use. Very expensive though. |

Adsense is ok. It's not great, but it's probably the best available choice. I don't like that its links redirect traffic from my site to another site, so I have chosen to limit how much I use it. Although they don't pay often, I prefer affiliate ads that I can control what the link looks like and have it open another window when the user clicks it.
