Help needed on photograph issue

If you scan photographs of your town from the local library and post them on a web site, do you have the power to stop people from using those scanned copies that appear on the site to make money?

I appreciate any help.

RKay

I know this is an old post but here goes anyway.
You probably already violated the copyright by scanning the pictures and putting them on the website. If someone copies them from there, it is still infringement on the original holders rights.

luck,
robert
