Hit Count Benchmark

Iv created a little website at http://www.hatespot.com

Its basically the hate version of secrets.com with a slightly more democratic edge.

My question is: How many hits or how big does the site have to get before its a good idea to approach advertisers. I know everyone could have a different answer but id like to have a general idea of what other developers think.

Thanks in advanced

- Joe

Good Question. Would also like to know the answer to this question!

Just to add to the OP's question. Is it usual for a company to approach you to ask if they could advertise on your site?
