Idea for directory

Hi,

I have an idea for a directory but I'd like to know what other webmasters think about it first:

The directory will crawl all major script directories (IE hotscripts.com and needscripts.com) and include the scripts it finds. It will display the script title and a description but it will link to the script's url on the script directory the crawler got it from. (It won't link directly to script's site)
Do you think the script directories will mind? Would script searchers use it more than they use IE hotscripts or needscripts?

Thank you

It is a good idea, i think there would be issues though from the big websites e.g hotscripts.com.

I had an idea similar to this a little while back, however it was not related to directories.

I would think it would be best to contact the websites in question before starting this project.

I'm a bit confused. How's the end product of yours different from hotscripts.com?
