Is it a portal? Or what can we call it?
We are a research centre at a University. We have an exisiting website, but are submitting a proposal to create a specialized research centre within our organization. We would like to create a website that contains links to research, resources, faculty, and general research information. This new website would reside as a "sub-site" off of our main website.

Would this be considered a portal? Or is there another fancy name for a website like this? We would like to list this website as a deliverable in our proposal, but want to make sure that we are using the correct terminology, and of course the most impressive terminology to make the proposal look good!!

Thanks for any help or advice you can provide!
