Is this illegal or not?
There is a domain i would like to buy which is www.amirkhan.net, i was wondering if there is anything wrong with that as there is www.amirkkhan.com owned by someone else?

Nope, but keep in mind that amirkhan the company can choose to sue you if you make your site look too much like theirs (in an effort to draw away their customers).

My company's domain is a .net; the .com is owned by another company with exactly the same name as us (save for an extra full-stop in our name) - yes they got the .com first. But we're not really worried as we're based in a different country altogether and our primary business is different from theirs. |
