Logo Ideas/Critique

Hello,

We currently use a logo/header that we created ourselves for our www.wickshosting.com site. It's fairly basic and clean, which is what I prefer myself, but I know what I like isn't necessarily what a potential customer is going to like.

We've had some concepts made by a third party, but almost feel they are too fancy. For example, one consists of blue and orange colors, servers, faded keyboard type image in the background, and phone number. In my opinion it seems like overkill, but it's hard for me to judge because I like the simple and clean look.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. What do you think of our current logo/header? What do you think is a good degree of "fanciness" (for lack of a better word)? Other companies such as 1and1.com seem to have fairly basic logos.

I think it is a bit too simple, there is a fair bit of empty space over to the right above the phone number that you could add something too. It doesn't have to be anything fancy but I think it would add a little something to your site. Overall it just feels a little too empty, I'm a fan of clean sites but I feel yours looks just a bit too empty.
