Merchant Account Suggestions/CC Gateway Suggestions
Hi All,

I was wondering if I could get some suggestions on merchant accounts and cc gateway providers.

For gateways I know of
Authorize.net
USAePay

As far as the gateway goes I definitely recommend using Authorize.Net. Very easy to integrate and work with. They're number one for a reason.

As far as the merchant account goes there are so many to choose from it is kinda hard to say. Pricing will fluctuate greatly and your product/pricing will influence what is best for you. I suggest you use this Merchant Account Comparison Worksheet to organize the quotes you get. Then use this Rate Comparison Calculator to do the comparison for you.

Out of curiosity what kind of products or services will you be offering?

Taking online deposits/reservations for a lodge.

I hear charge.com is pretty good, however I use a combination of Paypal and 2checkout.com They aren't merchant accounts but almost as good, plus 2CO costs just $50 to get started.

Hi, I am also using combination of different payment methods. I also prefer alert pay along with moneybookers.
