Need advice of software package

We are building an online business that will bring customers products from suppliers. We are looking for a software package that allows the vendor to add their info and products, we approve it, and then the customer views it and downloads the product, ie: pdf books, files, etc...

We are pretty tech savvy and have little $ so is there an open source project that can do this?
