Need Help with Ringtone business

Hey Everyone,

I am brainstorming a ringtone business for local artists in my area and was looking for any help/information on how to set it up. Basically, I know nothing of the programing needed or the technology process that occurs. I have read up some on SMS and understand some basics but I am basically at the first point of my research and am looking for some help and information to become better informed about how to setup the business. By setting up the business I don't mean acquiring a business license and talking with local labels I am more concerned with the business infastructure although any general information about how ringtones are usually licensed would be helpful too. If you have any links that you think would be helpful or any sources of information or just personal knowledge please let me know.
