Need only copyright?

I have done a school site. And am about to do another site.

What legal statements do we need in our 'conditons' page (just in case someone trips over the scafolding and tries to sue us)?

I guess just a copyright statement at least in the footer?

Honestly, a copyright statement may look good and be something to add, but unless you actually get a copyright for the images on your site through copyright agencies, it doesn't mean a whole lot.

As for legal statements you need to prevent people from suing you... depending on what you think they may sue you over. There are numerous reasons ppl can get sued for a site, so unless you're a little more specific, then we can't really tell you. That may be something to discuss with a lawyer as well, since they know the legalities of what you're doing. Different states vary in law, so something you may be sued for in Florida may not necessarily apply in Washington.

We may be able to help a little more if you give us more detail, such as:
1) What state are you in?
2) What exactly are your concerns as far as being sued or whatnot?

In UK

In the UK.

I thought the copyright statement was an overall protection for ANY content.

Just looking for a simple catch all disclaimer. But I guess if your a lawyer it would have to be mre complicated!
