You need to pay for US mailing address for just 1 month - $10-$20 based on the service you chose. Once you paypal is in verified state, you can stop using that service.

Loopholes

Most of the "how to" guides are based around a loophole which allows you to get an account from abroad, via a particular bank.

I got my guide from bankaccountusa.com , and actually, it was worth it!

I want to correct that one can open a usa bank account without a valid USA address. This information is sold by (URL address blocked: See forum rules) for $15. I think that is not much for a bit of information. They will guide you on how to open an account in 24hrs. This site also support international countries like china, japan, etc Goodluck

It's good that spammers want to keep responding to a message that is almost thre years old but opening a bank account in the United States, you need to pass the YKYC (you know your customer) regulation.

Bank of America is a world bank and chances are they might have a relationship with one of your local banks. If so, this might be used to hep meet the YKYC requirements. Usually the easiest to do this is by walking into the United States bank. Online, most will ask for a social security number, passport ID, driver's license perhaps. You do not need a social security number for a checking account unless it is interest bearing.

Check with a few of your local banks to see what relationships they have. A number of merchants have been able to open a bank account in the United States this way. Since this message was posted - things have changed significantly and will change even more.

I would attempt to try to get one of the local banks to help you first before paying any company money. It might even be cheaper to fly into the United States to open a bank account since opening a bank account is usually free. Bank of America would be a good bank to walk into to open a bank account with.

This one is what you looking for?

Hi dfewta,

Basically, there is no restriction for non US resident to open US bank account. At least this is what my understanding right now. Evidently, there are lots of non US resident have it even sometimes more than one. But some countries still cannot apply for it.
PATRIOT ACT, federal law, requires all US financial institutions to "KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER" rule, that mean when you apply a us bank account you will be asked at least about your valid photo ID, your ID and other necessary documents to support the earlier two: electric bill, phone bill, etc that correspond to your ID. They are looking for matching data from one to the other.
There are many ways to get US bank account for non resident.
1. You can apply thru brokerage firm. When you apply with brokerage firm, you will get brokerage account meaning that you will have to add additional brokerage number to identify your bank account.
2. You can ask an agent that is willing to represent you. You will have to sign few agreement in order this agent can represent you before the bank.
3. You can apply thru debit card. Debit card so far is my most preference than other solutions. You buy the debit card along with, of course, a US bank account. You can even apply online and sending your documents online. Widrawal upto $1500/day. No SSN needed. any amount for initial deposit for activation ($0.01 is fine) or use Paypal micropayment for activation withour sending any cents at all. It 's fun and very easy. If you need to get more information about this debit card, please find here (usbankaccount4nonresident dot marketingpowerpoints dot com >>> write on internet term!!) or you can pm me.

I hope this will help you. Good luck!

Yes, there is a way to open U.S. Bank account for non-US person within 1-2 weeks. Personal Banking in the United States for Non Residents is no longer an option, with the possible exception of flying here and meeting with an "understanding" Banker. Corporate Banking is just as difficult, unless you turn to professionals.

The Bank account opening is guaranteed! The accounts come together with online banking and VISA cards (optional). Ideal for Non US persons who operate internet businesses or want to expand into the United States. The account is easy to use with services like PayPalŠ and 2checkoutŠ.

Yes, it is quite possible to open a bank account in the USA. My brother from Pakistan recently opened a US bank account through non.resident.us.bank.account.googlepages.com

People. Be careful. There are a lots of scam artists offering bank account opening instructions for a few bucks. Bank account opening for non-us resident is a complicated process.
