OScommerce and credit cards

After realising that the credit card module for OScommerce actually doesnt check the validity of the card, ive begun to look at modules that do.

The problem is 1)the high cost and 2)ease of installation.

Any ideas? (so far paypal appears to be the cheapest)

Most things will be priced at $0.75 (music tracks)

thanks.

Are you looking for a merchant account / third party processor to fully accept credit cards? If so, Paypal is one option. Processors are not really merchant-friendly with micro-payments unfortunately.

try nochex ( nochex ) cheaper than paypal and your customers dont have to be signed up to pay using it.

PayPal charges a $0.30 fee and then 3.4% I believe on all transactions. So out of the $0.75 sale price, you would be left with about $0.43, which isn't too good.
Nochex also charge $0.30, but then 2.6%, so neither of these would really be much use.

I don't really know what to recommend in this scenario.

Regards
Steven Billings
