patents

I'm planning to develop some web-shop, but as started look for patent things I found that

this could be a problem, because according to http://webshop.ffii.org/ described patents

there is no way to develop web-shop without lot of those patented methods. I want to find

out how existing web-shop applications in U.S deal with such patented methods. Are they

paying royalties or some one time fee or how?

best regards
