PayPal for online payments!!!

Hi,
I wanted to know if its possible for me to open a paypal account. I live in Tanzania and its not supported in the list of PayPal. Is there any way i can sell and buy online together with transfer funds online. All suggestions will be helpful

Why you post this here, I do not know. PayPal is the one to contact on this. They have rules on who can and who cant participate due to laws.

There is likely a way to get around there restrictions, but I wouldn't endorse it. Maybe speak with PayPal and ask what your best option is to do.

Do you have Credit Cards where you live? (Cultural Lag...?) If so, just use that for trading...

Hello Akberali,

I would recommend that you try iKobo (URL). They are comparable with PayPal except for the fact that it works all over the world. They have money transfer services and they send you a Visa card that you can use to withdraw money from local ATM machines in your country.

Yes, I use ikobo too, their service is good, and they charge me very low fee-- only 1.99%

I really hate stormpay, they freeze my account without any notice. I had sent them 6 mails got no reply.

I'm currently using ikobo for p2p money transfers, actually for receiving payments for a couple of online jobs I'm doing for a company in another country. I'd have to say that fro what I need, it does the job quite nicely and I really appreciate the fact that I get my money almost instantly without waiting for any checks or transfers to clear and so on.
