privacy policy and terms of use
Hi,
I was just wondering where everyone gets their websites “privacy policy” and “Terms of Use” from? Does this have to be written from a lawyer? It is to be used on a commercial website where online purchasing is done.

I’m assuming it is illegal to take sections of these documents from other websites and reuse them?

Most TOS and AUP are pretty much standard. I would look at a few see what might conform to your website. And then once you have written it, get an attorney to review it
