Project I'm Working On. Looking For Input.

I hope this is the right forum for this. I’m an avid forum user, so I want to make clear that I’m not selling anything

I saw a lot of talented people here that I thought could benefit from and contribute to a project I’m working on.

I'm designing a website to provide creative professionals with the online networking, e-commerce, and business resources they need to achieve their goals. More details are available if you’re interested. I’m focusing on the following types of creatives:

Architects
Art directors
Fine artists (e.g., painters, sculptors)
Graphic designers
Interior designers
Landscape architects
Multimedia artists and animators
Music directors and composers
Musicians
Photographers
Set and exhibit designers
Singers
Web designers
Writers and authors

I want to build what people really want not just what I think you want. If you’d like to participate in recommending/voting on features, beta testing, etc., let me know and I will give you more info.

Starting a website requires quite a bit of work, and what I am doing is sort of the same thing. You might want to consider teaming with someone with more knowledge on the topic, or someone who is an excellent web designer and can build your site while you do the research. Another key topic is, are you going to host all the files you will share yourself? Or are you going to link to other websites with the information displayed on their server, or are you going to make everything yourself? There are a lot of key aspects involved when creating a website like this, I've had to spend nearly 3 months just thinking of ideas and creations I am going to have to make to get my website started and become successful. Research the topic something more, this isn't something you can just sleep on and say ok I'm gonna do it. Spend a few days or weeks thinking, then come up with a decision...
