Providing prices on poster?

Hi there,

I am designing a poster/flier for my web design services. Do you think it will be a good idea to put a 'special offer' price on there? For example: Get a x page website for $x?

Many thanks

It depends. Flyers/posters are meant to capture the audience. If this "special offer" price is a great deal, then sure. Add it to get their attention. If it's just a $5 or $10 discount, then there's no point, unless your prices are already below market value.

Then there's the other side of this... what else is the flyer for? I'm assuming it will have your website address with a link to your portfolio. It may just be better to leave prices off the flyer forcing them to go to your website to see all that you can do, and what prices you charge.

On my flyers, I don't put prices, but I do include a bunch of coupons for $x amount off. On posters, I probably wouldn't include prices. I want them to go to my site to see all that I can do. You just want something catchy, appealing, etc.

Hope this helps.
