Resource needed: release of code and what license to use, etc
i've been developing a piece of PHP software for some time now, and I'd like to release it to the public, but I'd also like to cover my bases as far as the code I've written.
Is there a license i can release under that states the code is free for the individual to use, but i still own the rights to the code (not to be distributed without permission-> i realize this is probably impossible to track)? I guess i just need a good resource that explains the types of licenses code can be released under. Anyone got a good link? I haven't had much luck yet. |

Moved from PHP Development to Business Help, where copyright/legal issues are more appropriately discussed. Thanks.
