Similar domain being opened by someone else

hey, i have a question about domain names.

we started our business in 2005, but really got going with production in late 2006. the website gains on traffic and popularity now and after looking it up on google the other day, i found another website with a very similar domainname on there. the site is apparently just a search engine site/traffic creator/advertiser or whatever you call these useless sites.
our domainname: www.chocolateriewanders.com
the other domainname: www.chocolaterie-wanders.com

my question: are there any legal matters that i could go against this? i would hate for customers to go there instead of our site and be mislead. i really don't mind sites of this nature personally, but is there really need for this stuff on the web? lets hear some opinions

This is a special technique in Seo called using typos for domain names, and you can find lots of typo generators. You can try and google for legal aspects of using typos.

Unless you trademarked that name before they purchased it and launched the site there isn't anything you can do.

Unless you TM'ed the name you cant do anything , also it would be difficult if the other party has reg'ed the name before you TM'ed .
