Small Business Financing
To all small business owners out there I have a few questions. (Others welcome to respond as well). We have been running our business for a few years now with no financing from banks, investors, etc... But, Currently I am looking into what options are available for me in the line of financing. I would like to officially leave my dayjob behind and work full-time for myself. All the banks that I have talked to all want my partner and I to put up our houses as collateral. Granted I dont need that much money, (maybe 20-30 Grand). Has anyone delt with SBA on loans? Any recommendations for a source of financing? Any good banks?

small-time financing
$25k ain't that much.
Look in to grants Look in to self-funding (ie bootstrap or get a job) Do a "friends & family" fundraising round. Quote:
