spreading the name
I want to spread the name of my website I currently offering free image hosting images upto 100mb in size! I want to become popular then put some ads on my site and bring in a little cash. any ideas?

Google adwords for hosting in general is pretty expensive. Join forums where your services might be needed by other forum members. Identify your target group. So, tell us - who will need image hosting?

The forums is a good idea, as well as newsgroups. Find a niche that you can contribute to, and use a tagline that gives a brief description and link.
I am doing the same thing with the image hosting, and am currently catering to 2 specific groups. It will take awhile, but will work if consistent and not trying to spam the forums and newsgroups.

People would be more convinced of your professionality by having a .com/net, reason being is that uni.cc is free. Thats my advice; professionality means everything!
