What about a virtual portfolio?
I need to show my resources, but still have not made dozens of designs. In order to show potential customers my skills and ideas, would it be a good idea to create several websites for imaginary businesses? Using a free hosting, obviously.
I could use some help, regards.

i think it should be a good idea but u have to plan it better. I mean: i think a free hosting should be a poor way to promote your products; so it should be better to register a personal/professional domain and put there your "imaginary" websites (they should be sub-domains of your main-domain).
In this way you should increase visit to your websites by using your main domain to reach people, maybe by create a blog or something similar.
Hope to be useful.

Financial Times website
The Financial Times website, you can set-up portfolios, add shares and monitor them.
Easy to use, but always makes you think, "I wish I'd actually bought those shares" as you see them rocket in your virtual portfolio!
