Yearly Salary for Junior Programmer
I've had an interview with a software development company based in Vancouver, Canada. Things sound promising since I've been told that they will get back to me with an offer. They asked me to come up w/ a salary in mind that I would think is fair for them and for myself.
Some of my tasks would include: QA Python programming C++ programming Network Admin for a Windows LAN Systems Admin Kind of a little bit of everything. What would be a fair salary (a rough, rough estimate)? Make sure to indicate the currency too ![]() Thanks! Jamie |

What kind of experience do you have? Just coming out of college with a CS degree I would expect a salary between 30K and 40K USD, depending on what area you are in (maybe more in NY or LA). I don't know about Canada, though. I have heard that the average is less than in the US. The biggest factor is location in salary.
