Investor's Business Daily - March inventories fell 0.1%, the first drop since Dec. '06, as sales of autos and farm products rose, the Commerce Dept said. Analysts had seen a 0.5% gain. The inventory-to-sales ratio, a gauge of how long it would take to clear stockpiles at the current sales pace, fell to 1.09 months' worth, the lowest since Nov.
