Stocks Up on Hopes for Stronger Economy (AP)
AP - Optimistic investors pushed stocks higher Monday as Wall Street hoped a week of solid economic data would ease inflation fears and help an oversold stock market recover from its recent losses. Falling oil prices and a strengthening dollar also spurred buying.
