c++ picture import help
hi i'm a programming newbie and i need sum help on importing pictures, i read many books and articles of how to open and read files but they never seem to work, can sum1 tell me how to do it cuz i need it for a school assignment that i'm doing, i'm using borland c++ as my compiler rite now but i can always change it to visual, any kind of help would be appreciate, thx a lot

that's how i learned. i also have some project source code if that's not enuf. |

dun really understand... but thx anyways
what i'm trying to do is get the program to open a picture (jpeg, bitmap, doesn't really matter) when something becomes true like this: if (count == 1) { *Opens picture* } but then the thing is i dunno what to put in there |
