Cleaning the textbox

Hi,
I'm working on a barcode reader project. I have a mobile reader which can be read barcodes. There is a windows from and a textbox in the program which can be show the barcode number when it has been read. I want make the reader read the barcodes periodically. So, it has to be cleaned the textbox when I read the barcode. I think it is easy but I'm new at C#.
Thanks

This should do it:
Code:
c#
myTextBox.Clear();
myTextBox.Refresh();

Thank you.
But I didn't get what I want. This function did not return anything to me. I want that the content of the textbox has to be "blue" and "selected" like this:
