Flash memory simulation
I need to simulate an abstract flash storage and measure factors like response time, access time , hits/misses etc. I am unsure how to start. So any help would be appreciated.

You first need to be clear about what kind of Flash memory technology you are simulating. Are you talking about raw direct access or access via a file system?
