well i am working on a project in which i need to control hardware

This is just a guess cause you said you need a quick response.. but I am pretty sure you need a micro-controller. You then must "burn" the code into the controller. Thats about as far as I know, I am still new to the programming aspect/concept of it all.

Tell you what boss, you'd better read How to post a question, which is the top thread on this forum. You haven't told us:
(a) What hardware platform this is on (b) What compiler/tools you are using (c) What sort of interface controller (if any) you are using As far as I know, there aren't any astrologers or psychics here on the forums, so unless you post at least SOME information about what you have, no one can help you. |

I am also trying this,
it may be like this u can controle through parellel port, by connecting port to DAC(Digital to Analog Converter IC), and send data using outport functions for this u should know the parellel port number |
