I need HELP!

Hello
In school I have to programm a breakout game in C (text based).
The barr on the bottom and the playing field I already programmed but I dont know how to programm the ball which flies around and hits the blocks. I have problems how to programm the angles the ball flies against the wall ...
Can somebody help me?
Or do you know where to get a source code?
Please HELP!
