Installers
Anyone know of good FREE installer generators that one can use for their projects? I'm targeting a Windows program, so something as simple as an msi generator would be fine.
I've been struggling with a Setup And Deployment Project in VS.NET, and though it all seemed quite good and all, something as simple as adding items to the start menu has turned out to be hours of headache. I'm about ready to give up forever on this gawd awful product.

Though i never did use it for making my own installer, i have had many programs that used NSIS by Nullsoft ( NSIS@Sourceforge). Never had any trouble installing anything that was built with this one.

Yeah, I'm aware of NSIS, and am going to give it a shot. I should have mentioned that. Anyone else with other recommendations?

Huh. Just finished looking at NSIS for the first time in about a year. It's really improved, the new 2.0 builds create some really sharp looking installers. I'm impressed.
