Scorpy's C/C++ Puzzle of the Week [UPDATED - May 5th 2008]
Right Lasses and Laddies,
I'm starting off a new column here. Every week (or whenever time permits), I'll present a puzzle of the week. First person or people to answer that puzzle correctly will appear in my signature for a week. The puzzles may be posted in the context of some other problem, or they may occupy threads of their own. This thread will contain links to the latest puzzle of the week. Puzzles (push down list): Puzzle 7 <--- Currently running. Puzzle 6 <--- Solved by no one Puzzle 5 <--- Solved by nattylife. Puzzle 4 <-- Solved by Lux Perpetua, Kitkat77 and Oler1s Puzzle 3 <--- Solved by many people. Puzzle 2 Solved by ComputerPhreak Puzzle 1 Solved by Kicken and ComputerPhreak Enjoy!

Hehe, that's not fun. @Scorps: try making some *harder* ones. Like, having to do with caching, subtle function side effects, unusual syntax constructs...

If anybody's looking for some good brainwork, btw, check out Project Euler. I've wasted lots of hours there but the problems are pretty good; there's a wide range of difficulty. It tracks the ones you complete and tallies a score too.
Er -- hope I'm not spamming this thread with this one but it seems relevant.
