SetRegistryKey(_T("help")); help.

Hi,

I'm trying to save some user options from a plugin I made to the windows registry. I've found alot of examples of how to use it but they're so large and seemingly complex that I was wondering if anyone has a bare bones example of how to simply write a key to the windows registry so I can actually understand what's being done.

My plugin has no BOOL CMyApp::InitInstance() function which is where I find the SetRegistryKey(_T("")); when I create an MFC application in VC++. Is it impossible to set that call outside InitInstance, because I need it to launch the registry edits elsewhere in my plugin.

Thank you.
