SMTP Object?
I'm going to be working on a small project for a friend and he asked me to look into an SMTP object usable from C. He said coldfusion can do this but that seems really excessive and expensive just to be able to send mail from C. It will be running on a dos/windows platform.
If anyone knows anything about this - I greatly appreciate it. Thanks edit: I will be using C/C++ |

I Googled on 'SMTP object C source' and found a freeware MFC class at FreeDownloads Center, http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/...Connection.html

Thanks for the help
![]() Has anyone used this? I'm looking for something that is 100% reliable and isn't just thrown together for a homebrew app - even if its an object that requires a nominal fee |

FWIW I've used the SMTP object that comes with C++ Builder, and it's been reliable for me.
