I'm just a poor college student, so any IDE over $100 is too much IMO. That's why I like the "free" languages and IDE's. 
ahuimanu--
I've been experimenting with Python and I love it too! Although I haven't messed with it yet, I also have a book on Perl. Yuck! What messy syntax.
