Automatically converting my database into .cfm
Hello all,
I am working on my first ColdFusion site using MSAccess. I have managed to create my 'search', 'results' and 'detail' pages. I would like to schedule a program (maybe like a batch job?) that I could schedule once a week to query my entire database, populate my 'detail page' with each record, and then save them in a folder with a naming convention like: 'body_care_product_company.html" Do you have any recommendations on how I could this? (I don't want to do a verity collection) (Manually is such a bear, I'm sure there must be a way to accomplish this automatically?) Thank you so much...I have not posted very ofter, as this site has always had so much information to help me in the past. Eshera Talison site: htp://www.atlantisherbs.com (in process) |

Sure you can do this. Set up a scheduled task that queries for the product info. Then loop over the query and write out whatever you want to a file using CFFILE.
