    CFCALENDAR z-index

    Hey,

    I've got a <cfcalendar> and a drop down menu. I bet you can tell whats happening, the drop down menu is dropping down behind the cfcalendar. I get why this is happening but can't seem to figure out how to fix it. When i apply wmode to my cfcalendar it goes blank. When i apply the wmode to my CFform it does nothing.

    Currently my menu has a z-index value of 500.
    Code:
    <CFINCLUDE template="/header.cfm">

    <DIV style="clear:both; margin-left:450px;">

    <CFFORM wmode="opaque">
    <cfcalendar name="testcal">
    </CFFORM>

    </DIV>

    So i figured it out. I wasn't specifying flash in my CFform so i assume it didn't know to handle the wmode.

    Code:
    <CFINCLUDE template="/header.cfm">

    <DIV style="clear:both; margin-left:450px;">

    <CFFORM wmode="opaque" format="flash">
    <cfcalendar name="testcal">
    </CFFORM>

    </DIV>

    I don't think you can do anything about it. Some of the other Flash-based CFML tags have a wmode attribute that lets you control this, but CFCALENDAR does not for some reason.

    You'll probably want to roll your own or look at an HTML-based calendar option. Maybe something like this? http://tmt_calendar.riaforge.org/
