I made a Chart using the <CFCHART tag my code works perfectly on my computer but as soon as i put it on the server the chart doesnt appear. I left it default, manually wrote FORMAT = "jpeg", "png", and even "flash" still nothing. The server has Coldfusion MX.
I get a page with a broken image on it. When I change the format to the flash default it just hangs and processes nothing. Am i forgetting something? |

Are you running the single user development server?

If it's a shared server, it might be a pathing issue with the host. Have you contacted them to confirm that the charts are being saved in a path that you can get to? If you right click on the broken chart image, what path is it trying to use to display the image? That path must be available from the host.
I can't name a site offhand that uses cfchart but I am sure that it works because, for example, FarCry's content server uses it for displaying site usage graphs. |
