Cfdocument & Cftry

I'm using CFDOCUMENT to create a PDF which I then print (A FLASH program calls a print CFC which invokes another CFC to create the PDF). As this evolves, I get errors which result in the non-creation of the PDF and CFPRINT fails. I tried wrapping the CFDOCUMENT in a CFTRY but I get a context error for the CFTRY which means I can't use CFCATCH to get a better definition of the problem. Is this the correct approach?

** UPDATE ** I don't understand what I was doing wrong, but it seems to be working now!@*! Cabin fever? Apologies for wasting your time.
