CFDump Alternative
Background:
I currently own webspace and I wanted to do an experiment. I made a form that simply consists of a text area and a submit button. You type a querystring in the textarea and when submitted, CF runs the query and dumps the query results. Problem: The CFDump tag is not supported by my webhost (they have CF 4.5). This is meant as a quick and dirty solution just so I can quickly test queries and see results w/o opening MS Access. Any ideas anyone?? |

The ColdFusion Exchange on the Macromedia web site has numerous custom tags that do things like this. Just search for "dump" or "dump query".

http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/e...0Exchange&avm=1
or http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/e...extid=0&catid=2 My suggestion: change server providers and forget about v.4.5 use MX, 4.5 has severe limitations that MX fixed. If u dont have the $$$ just make 2 static sites and get the $ that way. |
